Treasure hunting at estate and yard sales

There really is truth to the saying, "One man's junk is another man's treasure." Lately I've been obsessed with scouring estate sales and yard sales (much to the chagrin of my husband). Ironically enough, we are actually holding a garage sale ourselves this weekend! I know I should be getting rid of things, not buying more, but I just can’t help myself! I love the thrill of finding an amazing deal!

Here’s a few of the items I’ve accumulated in the last couple of months:

Two vintage Bailey’s teacups - $1 each.
I love the “yum” printed on the inside of the cups!

Wooden tree stump table - $30

 Wooden wine crates - $3-5 each

Display case - $10

 Glass preserves jars - $2.50 each

Red wooden frame, fabric scraps, variety of bias tape, and nine vintage wooden spools of thread - $3 for everything! The red frame will be perfect as a prop for a DIY photo booth, or I could turn it into a corkboard, chalkboard, or tray… the possibilities are endless!

Hopefully we'll be able to get rid of a good amount of stuff this weekend at our garage sale to make room for all the new treasures I keep finding! ;)

{ pardon our dust }

And we’re live!

It’s taken us quite some time to get here, but we’re finally pursuing our long-held dream of starting our own business! And not only that, it’s such an amazing blessing that we’re launching this venture together!

We are still working on developing our product line, but in the meantime we wanted to launch this blog as an outlet for expressing our ideas, experience, insights and inspiration. Enjoy!
