{ pardon my charm } came into being out of a combined love of crafting and party planning between two childhood friends. Val and Terry first met at church in their tweens and have been friends ever since. Despite attending different schools and even living four hundred miles apart at one point, it is clear that their love of God has been and continues to be the foundation for their close friendship.
After many years of attending craft shows and exchanging party tips, the two finally had a revelation – to start their own handcrafted party goods business!
Though Val and Terry tend towards different aesthetics, with Val gravitating towards the whimsical and colorful while Terry is drawn to all things vintage or rustic, their individual distinctiveness comes together through { pardon my charm } to give them the ability to delve into a wider range of craft and design.
Val and Terry’s shared passion for pretty, handcrafted things and warm, personalized gatherings is what inspired the birth of { pardon my charm } and will hopefully be a place that inspires others!
